John Hancock Center is the tallest office and residential building in the world.
In this 100-story office building, apart from offices and flats, there are also: shops, department stores, restaurants, technical centers, television studios, 750 parking spaces, swimming pool located on the 44th floor, ice rink and 50 lifts.
The white light tapes surrounding the hundredth floor are visible at night from anywhere in Chicago, the lights change color accordingly: Christmas, Valentine, Saint. Patrick, July 4 and Haloween.
The division of the skyscraper floors is as follows: floors 1-5 lounge and commercial rooms, 6-12 parking, 12-15 offices, 16 and 17 mechanical rooms, 18-41 offices, 41 and 42 mechanical rooms, 44 and 45 recreation rooms and pool, 46-92 apartments, 93 observatory, 94-96 restaurants, 97-100 mechanical rooms.
External beams completely cover two windows on each floor. Beams have been defined as a certain symbol, therefore, renting rooms with these beams is more expensive.
