Juliette Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts of America, affectionately known as Daisy, was born here on Halloween in 1860.
Best known as the Juliette Gordon Low's Birthplace, this historic home was designated as Savannah's first National Historic Landmark in 1965. It is presently owed and operated by the Girl Scouts as a living memorial to Juliette Gordon Low.
