Louis Cyr, baptised Noé-Cyprien Cyr (October 10, 1863 – November 10, 1912) was a famous Canadian strongman. His recorded feats include lifting 500 pounds (227 kg) with one finger and carrying 4,337 pounds (1967 kg) on his back. He is the 'uncontested and incontestible' strongest man ever to live.
