The Council of Saint was burned down Trinity in St. Petersburg

Yesterday evening, a strong fire destroyed the one built in 1828-35 one of the most beautiful councils of St. Petersburg. Probably fire caused the explosion of the cylinder on the main scaffold, measuring 80 meters of the dome.
After more than 3 hours of fighting, fire fighters (30 in the group of fire brigades) managed to deal with the fire. The fire, however, consumed all the domes of the temple, and the highest collapsed.
The Council is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
