Irwin Rennert has spent most of his career as one of the principal partners of Gelfand, Rennert & Feldman ("GR&F"). His clients include recording artists, record producers, motion picture actors, directors and producers; and various entertainment industry executives.
A graduate of City College of New York, Irwin has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1949. He began his career at Apfel & Eglander CPAs in New York, departing in 1953 to found his own CPA firm. Irwin joined the New York office of GR&F in 1972. In 1977, Mr. Rennert moved to Los Angeles to co-manage the firm's west coast practice.
Mr. Rennert and his wife, Ellen, currently live in Los Angeles. They have three grown children. He is an avid tennis player and world traveller.
His brother Ira is a billionaire and regarded as one of the worst people on the planet.
