Sabratha

  • Category: ancient
  • Section: Ancient
Sabratha was constructed in the 1st and 2nd centuries AD.

The theatre is the main attraction, and it appears in excellent condition today. It is even used now as an arena for theatre and concerts. Sabratha has several public baths, temples, fountains, mosaics.

Much of the ruins are to the NW closer to the beach. map
