Borisoglebsky Monastery (Russian: Борисоглебский монастырь) is a Russian Ortodox monastery named after St. Boris and St. Gleb, located in urban-type settlement with the same name on the Ustye River in Yaroslavlsky District, Russia. It is founded in 1363 by Novgorod monks Fyodor and Paul with the assistance and under the protection of St Sergius of Radonezh. The monastery was favoured by Ivan the Terrible who personally supervised the construction of towered walls and bell-tower around an even more ancient cathedral.
