Abildå Lignite Mining Museum is an open air museum showing how lignite was dug from 1914 to the end of World War 2 when it was very difficult go get fossil fuel.

It's also possible for the audiences to participate in the digging for a fee of 35 DKK.

It's open from May 1 to September 15.
