James D. Mair is founder, CEO, and president of South Bay Development Company, a Campbell, CA-based company that acquires, develops and owns commercial property for its own account and in partnership with a variety of institutional investors. The firm focuses its efforts entirely in Northern California and is considered one of the leading managers and developers of office, industrial and retail properties. They work in all phases of development, acquisition, construction and property management. South Bay Development Company was incorporated in 1978 and remains privately held.
