Bhutan

Bhutan, officially known as Kingdom of Bhutan, is located on the continent of Asia. This country covers an area of 38 394 km² and is inhabited by approximately 0.77 million people. The capital city is Thimphu, which serves as the center of political, cultural, and economic life. Bhutan is located at a latitude of 27.5° N and a longitude of 90.5° E. The official language is Dzongkha, allowing for a deeper understanding of the culture while visiting. Before traveling, remember that the currency is Bhutanese ngultrum (symbol: Nu.), and driving is on the left.
