Varso Tower - this is how the tallest building in the European Union will look, it will be built in Warsaw's Wola district
The highest building in the European Union - Varso Tower - will be built next to the Central Railway Station and the Golden Terraces. A skyscraper with 310 meters (including an 80-meter spire) will have 53 floors.
In addition to the main skyscraper of the Foster & Partners studio project, the complex also includes two lower HRA Architekci office buildings, respectively 80 and 90 meters high.
The total area of the project at Chmielna 69-73 street in Warsaw Wola will be 140,000 sq m m2.
The plot is already being prepared for the common part, and the construction of the main tower will start in less than half a year.
The investor is HB Reavis, which in 2011 bought this land from the Polish State Railways for PLN 171 million.
Let us remind you that currently the highest in the EU is London's The Shard, which is 309,6 meters high, Varso after construction in 2020 will be 40 cm higher than it.
The Varso Tower investment will have an observation deck with a 360-degree panorama located at a height of 230 meters, it will be accessible by two panoramic lifts.
On the two lowest floors there will be small shops, restaurants, cafes, post office and service points. On the 46th and 47th floor of the highest building there will be restaurants with spectacular views.
Under the buildings there will be four floors, where all technical functions will be hidden.
