The largest building in the world was opened in China

The New Century is a shopping and entertainment center in Chengdu. It is 500 meters long, 400 meters wide, and 100 meters high, the center has twenty largest operas from Sydney.
Inside the building, on the surface of 1.76 million m2, there are, among others: shopping malls, cinemas, offices, university complex, two five-star hotels, an ice rink, a Mediterranean village and a water park with an artificial beach.
This modern wave-shaped building has its own "artificial sun" shining around the clock and the "artificial horizon" displayed on a 150-meter long screen. The construction of the complex lasted only 3 years.
