Run up the stairs to the top of the Azrieli Tower

As every year, on November 26, the famous run of stairs took place to the top of the Azrieli Tower. Several hundred competitors had to overcome 51 floors of the building and a total of 1,444 stairs. The fastest of the participants reached the finish in less than 8 minutes.
Located in Tel Aviv, the skyscraper with 187 meters high is the second largest building in Israel.
Similar races are taking place in other cities, the most famous of which is running up the stairs to the top of the Empire State Building that has been taking place for 33 years, a run in which competitors have to overcome as many as 1576 stairs. Similar events take place at the Taipei 101 skyscraper in Taiwan or the Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
