The new Shanghai Wheelock Square is to be built by 2007. It will be 290 meters high, that is, it will be higher than the second highest building in this city by 2 meters. Land for its construction with an area of ​​12,675 m² was purchased for 25.6 million dollars. The total area of ​​the skyscraper is to be 114 075 m². According to David Tian, ​​the head director of Shanghai Wheelock Square Development Ltd., the construction of the building will start this year.
