Orco will pay hundreds of thousands of zlotys per minute of sun

The 192 meter apartment building was designed by the famous architect Daniel Libeskind. Currently, negotiations are under way regarding the construction of a modern skyscraper, which is to be built in Warsaw at Złota 44. An obstacle in the construction is the amount of sun reaching neighboring buildings. The norm requires that in Śródmieście, the sun falls into flats for at least 90 minutes a day. Experts have calculated that in a tenement house at Sienna 41 the duration of insolation will be 89 minutes, which makes the apartment unsuitable for housing.

Negotiations, however, are coming to an end. Probably the inhabitants of the "unlit" premises will be transferred to another apartment, renovated at Orco's expense. The company must provide the city with the equivalent of this flat.

Even worse is the situation with the apartment at Emilii Plater 47, where the sun will only reach 55 minutes a day.
