Opening of MahaNakhon - the tallest skyscraper in Bangkok

Already today (August 29, 2016) the new, tallest skyscraper in Bangkok (Thailand) will be opened.

Skyscraper is characterized by an unusual appearance, reminiscent of buildings from the popular computer game - Minecraft. In the smooth body of the building, a three-dimensional ribbon was carved, entangling the building from the base to the top. This ribbon in the form of cavities creates many additional terraces, swimming pools and giant balconies which diversify the apartments located there.

With 77 floors and a 314-meter high skyscraper, it will overtake the previous leader in this city, measuring 304 meters Baiyoke Tower II.

The project announced in 2009 was created in cooperation of Ole Scheeren with the Office for Metropolitan Architecture office. His estimated construction cost is 630 million dollars.

MahaNakhon is a hotel and service complex located on the area of ​​150 thousand. m2, which also includes a small seven-story CUBE building and a public square connecting the skyscraper with the train station.
