Leeza SOHO office building designed by Zaha Hadid with the largest atrium in the world

A high-rise building of the Zaha Hadid Architects project is being built in Beijing, the atrium, which is the highest in the world, sets it apart from others. With a height of 207 meters and 46 floors, the Leeza SOHO office building has already reached the 20th floor.

The building is divided into two parts, through the metro station located in the middle. Both parts will be connected by bridges arranged at different heights.

On the roof of the building there will be a heliport, while the most interesting element will be a vertical atrium, which at the moment of completion, at 190 meters, will be the highest in the world. The inspiration for its creation was the creation of a vertical tunnel that will "sew up" two halves of the building.

The total office and usable space will be 1.4 million square meters.

The target height of the office building will be reached in September this year, and commissioning it is planned for 2018.

Leeza SOHO is one of the last projects created before the death of Zaha Hadid, continued by the London architectural office. The office building is one of the 30 projects on which the office of the deceased, March 31, 2016, Zaha Hadid, works.
