Jean Nouvel's project for a new skyscraper in New York
A new skyscraper with a crystal shape will be erected near the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Building plans created by the architect Jean Nouvel were recently presented. As both buildings will be connected, the three lowest floors of the skyscraper will increase the exhibition space of the museum. In the remaining 75 floors there will be a hotel and luxury apartments. The tender for the construction will be decided at the end of 2008.
