ING chose a general contractor for Thespiana, a multifunctional building in the center of Wrocław
Thespiana's developer is ING Real Estate Development Sp. z o.o. company belonging to the Dutch ING Group. The construction works carried out by Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex SA will last approx. 14 months. The general contractor will take over the construction works on which earthworks related to, among others, with the construction of a hermetic wall.
Multifunctional building Thespian, with an area of 6,800 sq m, is located at pl. Powstańców Śląskich 1-3. Is divided into a commercial part - offices (2000 sq m) and commercial premises (1000 sq m)? on the lower floors and apartments on the upper floors (from 3 to 8). Will be created here 32 high-class, air-conditioned apartments - from 70 to 230 m? - finished with a turnkey, i.e. with finished floors, woodwork, finished bathrooms and kitchen. Selected apartments on the upper floors have terraces. Thanks to the use of modern double glazing technology, the interior façades are quiet and easy to maintain in them the desired temperature.
Thespian has a simple, harmonious shape and is kept in neutral colors. Perfect interior lighting is ensured by fully glazed façades. The main entrance to the building, with a reception hall (served by porters) and an access control system, was designed from the side of Plac Powstańców Śląskich. The building will be equipped with an underground car park for 70 seats.
Thespian, designed by Maćków Pracownia Projektowa is the first investment of ING Real Estate Development in Wroclaw, which already gains international recognition. In the 7th National Architecture Festival of Minsk, completed on September 19 this year, as part of the International Biennale for Young Architects Leonardo Award 2009, the Thespiana project won the second place in the category of tall buildings. The event is organized by the Association of Belarusian Architects (BUA) in cooperation with with the International Union of Architects (UIA), the International Union of Architectural Associations (IAUA) and the Council of Architects of Central and Eastern Europe (ACCEE). Over 400 projects from around the world were submitted to the competition.
