Buildings nominated for the Royal Institute of British Architects 2016

For the first time in the history of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), an organization associating architects in Great Britain, the selection of the best building of the year will be on a global scale.

In December, the winner will be announced from among the nominated 30 buildings from 20 countries.
The winner will be a project that will be the most interesting, the most innovative, revealing and perfectly made.

The jury, in addition to the leading Richard Rogers, will also include Billie Tsien, Kunlé Adeyemi, Philip Gumuchdjian and Marilyn Jordan Taylor.

The Royal Institute of British Architects are associations founded in 1834 (originally under the name Institute of British Architects in London), currently has over 44 thousand members, and its headquarters is in London.
