A five-star Hilton Hotel in Wrocław will be built
We are starting archaeological works in the area where the most famous network in the world will be located in 2010 - confirms Paul Adolph of Wings Properties.
The Hilton project is quite bold for Polish standards - the so-called New Form Architecture. At the same time, the architects ensure that harmony between the city's climate will be maintained. What's more, it is to be an important cultural place of Wroclaw.
The hotel will be a modern building, standing out against the background of the city panorama. The external façade will be made of Corian, an extremely plastic material that accentuates the characteristic curve of the object.
In the basement you will find a car park for approx. 250 places. The ground floor will be decorated with a large garden, the Center for Contemporary Media and a jazz club will also be created there. The floors will be adapted for conference rooms, restaurants and service areas. Proponents of an active form of spending free time will also find something for themselves - a swimming pool, a fitness center and a wellness center. The top floors will feature 420 luxurious rooms and suites. The total investment cost is PLN 300 million.
The father of the Hilton chain is Conrad Nicholas Hilton, who bought his first hotel after the First World War in the United States. Today, the network, whose property is valued at $ 6 billion, has over 500 hotels around the world.
The Wings Properties company took possession of the plot at Podwale by winning a tender organized by the city of Wrocław in June this year. The starting price was PLN 10 million, the area was eventually bought for PLN 35 million.
The hotel will be erected on ul. Podwale 82-91 in Wrocław, between the Main Post Office and the Dominican Gallery.
