Architect LW Rudniew wanted the office building to be in the Polish style, so he visited well-known cities, for example: Krakow, Chełm, Zamość, in order to collect the necessary information and get acquainted with Polish architecture.

Rudniew and his team created five projects, the Poles chose a 120-meter building, but their ambitions were much larger, which allowed them to build a much larger building.

About 3,500 Russian workers took part in the construction, who lived in a specially built housing estate with a cinema, canteen, lounge and swimming pool.
