Facts, informations and history of Burj Al Arab

Burj Al Arab is not only the tallest non-office hotel in the world, but also a symbol of luxury, innovation and architectural genius. This unusual building, whose shape resembles a sail, is one of the most important places on the tourist map of Dubai. It is located 17 kilometers south of the city, part of The Jumeirah Beach Resort. This is a place where splendor meets modernity, offering guests an unforgettable experience. Let's take a closer look at this masterpiece of architecture and luxury.

Unique location and architectural design

Burj Al Arab stands out not only for its height, but also for its location. The hotel stands proudly on an artificial island, located 280 meters into the sea. It is connected to the mainland only by a thin, winding path, which gives it a unique, almost magical character. The very design of the building resembling yacht sail was the inspiration to create a modern symbol of Dubai, which attracts tourists from all over the world.

The building was designed by British architect Tom Wright from Atkins. As many as 3,500 people worked on the construction, including designers, engineers and constructors. 360,000 cubic meters of cement and over 9,000 tons of steel were used, and 250 steel piles were driven into the foundations to a depth of 40 meters to ensure the stability of the structure. The result is a unique façade that is dazzling white during the day and sparkles with rainbow colors in the evening thanks to a double Teflon coating covered with fiberglass.

Unrivaled luxuries and amenities

Burj Al Arab is synonymous with luxury and exclusivity. The hotel offers 202 luxurious rooms equipped with the latest technology, including cameras, laptop computers and Internet access. Guests can choose from a variety of suite types, including 142 single suites, 18 panoramic rooms, 4 club rooms, 28 double bedrooms, 6 triple bedrooms, 2 presidential suites and 2 royal suites.

Right after entering the building, guests are delighted with the variety of colors, light and sound. The hotel boasts the highest atrium in the world, whose central point is an impressive 32-meter column of water. There is a reception desk on each floor, which emphasizes the individual approach to each guest.

Burj Al Arab also offers a number of other amenities that ensure an unforgettable experience. The building includes, among others: several restaurants, a viewing platform, two swimming pools, two diving pools, 18 treatment rooms, hydrotherapy and massage rooms, solarium, sauna and jacuzzi, fitness studio, museum and library. Thanks to such a wide offer, guests can enjoy complete relaxation and comfort without having to leave the hotel.

Luxury experiences at your fingertips

One of the most unique aspects of staying at Burj Al Arab is the opportunity to take advantage of luxury transportation. Guests can arrive by helicopter, landing on a special helipad on the 27th floor of the hotel, or choose luxury transportation to the airport in luxury Rolls Royces. It is these details that make your stay at Burj Al Arab unique and unforgettable.

Widzialem ten hotel. To na razie rzeczywiscie wizytowka miasta. Choc juz niedlugo chyba.
